Toronto, Ontario - April 16, 2012 - The Canadian Real Estate Association today released Nation-wide residential real estate sales statistics for March.
Overall sales were up a tepid 2.5% versus February, 2012, and up a mere 1.6% over March, 2011.
Newly listed homes actually fell 0.3% versus February. With sales still rising - albeit marginally - but the number of available properties falling - the market remains relatively tight.
The national average home price fell year-over-year by 0.5%, however.
